CC 5.2 SP12: Failed: Scheduling background job by period selection

Hello,

I'm having an issue with Compliance Calibrator 5.2 SP12. I am trying to schedule a background job by period selection (weekly, daily and etc) . I am able to schedule a background job if I don't select the period selection. Error: Failed to process request.

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.virsa.cc.common.ui.BgSchedulerView.onActionScheduleClicked(BgSchedulerView.java:207)

at com.virsa.cc.common.ui.wdp.InternalBgSchedulerView.wdInvokeEventHandler(InternalBgSchedulerView.java:193)

at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.generation.DelegatingView.invokeEventHandler(DelegatingView.java:87)

at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.controller.Action.fire(Action.java:67)

at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.window.WindowPhaseModel.doHandleActionEvent(WindowPhaseModel.java:420)

... 26 more

Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you OCgirl, this workaround was very helpful. I'll waiting for this new version SP14.

Hi Rodrigo,

You can bypass the error by inputting a end date. I used 12/31/9999.

I also contacted SAP about the problem. They will fix the issue in SP14.

This bug is scoped in AC5.2 SP14 and

The tentative release date of AC5.2 SP14 is in the month

of October 2009.
