WARRENTY CHECK ON COUNTER

CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME HOW TO CHECK WARRENTY ON RUNNING HOURS OR KM BASIS FOR AN VEHICLE. FROM WHERE SYSTEM WILL PICK COUNTER READING IF I AM CREATING A MASTER WARRENTY ON COUNTER KM.

Hi,

1.Create Measuring points for both KM and Running hrs for a equipment

2.Create Master warranty with counters for Both KM and running hrs with either or condition and give the corresponding value for each counter

3.Assign the created master warranty to the Equipemnt

4.Create Meas documents IK11

5.Now when the system checks for warranty according to both the counter readings

hi

you have to create the characteristic ,assign in IMG for warranty related counter .Then create measuring point with reference to this characteristic .

While creating the master warranty specify this characteristic in the counter TAB,then proceed the normal way of entering measurement document in IK11 which will update the in the master warranty if you have specified the master warranty number in the equipment master record
