Images and url's CCM not visible

Hi,

Got a question about images in CCM.

Our contentmanager uploaded several jpg images and pdf url's to the catalog. However, they are not visible in the productdetails.

Our contentmanager has used a csv file to upload the catalog. It's a file he has used often and has worked before.

When I enter the proper link directly into my internetbrowser I can see the images and pdf documents.

When I check the position overview of the catalog via maintain catalog I see all the positions. I then go to the details of a position and there's an id called URL (for the pdf documents). When I check this id I can see the proper URL as well.

Anybody an idea what we're doing wrong? I checked our QAS environment for comparison, but all settings seem to be the same.

I also checked for notes, but couldn't find one that matches my problem.

Regards,

Timo

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the info.

We finally resolved the issue. It was due to a specific characteristic we created that things didn't work out. We had to assign the characteristic to several catalogs, mapped everythign and published the master again.

Now we're able to see the pdf documents.

Hi Jason,

Just got the file. The url is located in the column URL#/ccm/url. The url itself for instance is OBT/JLZ.BLK.AWR.ALG.01.09 .pdf.

If needed I can send you the complete fil.

Timo

Hi Timo,

Please send methe file for analysis, you can attach it to the sapmats container [here |https://sapmats-de.sap-ag.de/upload/index.cgi?id=PW1ETF7HQEPI7OT2K5FTWFXJFWDHPMST1BB6QBUUA4UFZ4TZFC]if you cannot post attachments in the forums.

Hi Timo,

The URL should be delivered in the form:

;http://myserver:myport/filename.fileextension;fileextension;

Like:

;http://www.sap.com:1080/sampleimage.jpg;jpg;

Alternatively you can just add the MIME URL directly into the CCM schema of the affected catalog which means in the uploads you only need to define the filename and extension.

Hi Timo,

Please provide for us the syntax used in the CSV file for population of the Image/URL so we can determine if this looks correct?

Jason
