while creating quotation/sales price an error occur

hi experts

i have done cost planning using ECP , i have created inquiry and also assigned DIP profile to inquiry and Project Definition as well. Now , when i am creating sales price/quotation thru DP81 iam getting an error message." Error during material determinationfor sales document item 10000000/0010"

please help me in solving this issue..

Hi,

The DIP profile defined is not proper;There is a good pdf file available for DIP settings online.pls go through that before config of DIP.

Just a brief of DIP for Usage :Quotation & Sals Prcng

1.Allocate sales doc type for DIP

2.Usage quot

3.Charateristic for selec for DIP(for e.g cost element,WBSE)

3.1 No summarisation deactive (will give individual details)

3.2 Structuring active (will give break up during quotation)

3.3 Define the set name

3.4 Single values active

4.Source ECP 100%

4.1Selection criteria name of Set (give the set name which contains all the cost elements)

5.Material determination (enter the service material no to which the details to be collected;transfer cost and quantity)

5.1criteria (cost elemtn set)

enter the proper DIP profile in project profile

check for the status in ODP2
