Even though the Solution Manager 4.0 (Support Release 2) installer says that "Installations on domain controllers are not supported" my server is not in a domain. Please help me to resolve the error. Ready to give you any additional info if needed.

My reply will not instantly solve your issue, but why would you install SR2?
You should install SR4, that way you will be on the latest release with all the latest functionality.
With a product like SolMan it's very usefull to be up-to-date.
