Plant in Extended Attributes

Hello All,

We are in SRM 4.0.

Issue Description: In extended attributes in PPOMA, under locations when we select the backend system and then enter the BP number, the plant is not getting populated.

The plant was replicated and SLG1 message is successful. We can see the plant and company code entry in the table BBP_LOCMAP with the corresponding BP number.

When trying to search the details with the BP number in the transaction BP, the result is negative with no entries found.

Can you please let me know if the replicated plant can be deleted i.e. entry from the BBP_LOCMAP can be deleted and re-replication can be done or any other way of solving this?

We replicated 16 plants and only 4 plants are showing up in the search under extended attributes.

Regards

Sathya

Hi,

Replicated plants can be deleted by program BUPA_TEST_DELETE. please use in test mode before doing it.

Then the plants can be again replicated. use GET_SELECTED for replicating selected plants.

Have you checked that your number ranges for the business partners are ok?

Hello,

Thank you for your suggested solution. We tried deleting the plant with the business partner ID but system throws up the message that the BP number is not existing. Other than in BBP_LOCMAP table, in all other tables like BUT000 , HRT5502 or transaction BP the corresponding BP number gives blank result.

Any leads to resolve this issue?

Hi. Have you checked SLG1 from when you first replicated the plants? It will tell you if there were any errors.

Anyway, you can try function BBP_CHANGE_ORGANIZATION, table IT_LOCMAP_DEL, to delete completely from BBP_LOCMAP then run the replication again.

Dave.
