Change the UOM of PO line item when PO has been ordered (released)

Dear experts,

I have an enquiry which i hope i can gather some answers from the forum.

Currently in our SRM system, I have a PO which is in Ordered status. However, there is a need to change the UOM of a line item. Is there anyway I can do so?

When I try to change the UOM in pricing condition, i hit an error "Inactive Via Formulas or Incorrect".

If i force the change, the PO will change status from "Ordered" to "Incompleted", basically it becomes corrupted.

for eg. if it is special shopping cart turned PO , we can change the UOM from the item data but when i go to price and and it will show you the same original PO UOM only. i could not change(just it shows only list of Old UOM ) it from prices in the item data.How ddi you do it?
