Query regarding System Copy

Hello Experts,

I am planning to to do one system copy of a ECC6.0 IDES in the same server where the actual instance is running.

The details are as follows.

Platform: Hp-UX

DB: Oracle

Instance:SAP ECC6.0 ABAP+JAVA

Space :

File System Total space (GB) Used space (GB) Available space (GB)

/sapmnt/SID 6.55 1.43 4.8

/usr/sap 19.66 4.25 1.48

/oracle 367 284 78

Additionally, I'll be able to add 300 GB of space to /oracle taking space from other unused file systems.

So, effectively I will have 380 GB of space.

Please let me know if the system copy is possible using the same server.I have taken the complete offline data back up.

is it possible to perform system copy in the same server where the actual instance is running if i have ample amount of space in the concerned filesystem??

Yes, it is possible but, of course, the SID and system number will be different.
