Hi. They are similar but not really the same. If you park in MM there is some visibility in the vendors ledger, and it also triggers a different event so you can start workflows or whatever.
Putting an invoice on hold in SRM means the invoice sits there in SRM, there is no visibility anywhere else apart from in SRM.
If you look in MIRO or FB60 in ECC there is a hold button, that is the same as putting an invoice on hold in SRM.
