What are inspection points and plausibility factor?

Inspection point:

There are various Material available in SAP regarding Inspection point

But just to tell you in simple terms Inspection points are used for a process where you repetedly want to inspect or do RR for same charactoristic in Inspection plan or Routing.

Mainly used in Chem industry where after several fixed Interval( Quantity ot Time) you wnat to inspect the material & valuate it.Like in COKE industry after fixed Bottles you inspect some bottles.This is possinle through IP.

Not only that it is also mandatory for Plant Maintaince & Physical sampling.

This is acheived by sampling procedure.

plausibility factor:In relation with control Indicator this means to shrink the limits of Inspection.

like LL:10.00 UP:10.40

then Plausibility : LL:10.20 & UL:10.30...
