How to default ECL viewer 6.0 options

When you click options button in ECL viewer, under the toolbar tab, you can tick:

[ ] First Page

[ ] Previous Page

[ ] Next Page

[ ] Last Page

After ticked, the button will shown on the screen. The problem is I need to do these settings in very PC, is there any ways I can make it default in SAP? so that I no need to set in every PC

Hi Yean,

the settings for the ECL Viewer are stored in the registry under path like

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/SAP/VCT_Retained/5.1/Common/de/ImageViewUtils". With the help of this key you should be able to create a .reg file which can be sent to all your users to get the same settigns on each PC.

Depending on the ECL Viewer version the key could contain value '5.1' or '6.0'.

You are right , We can set Default, this is done in SPRO... Which will reflect all user i guess.

ECL control is supplied by SAP and can display both TIF and FAX formats. For more information on ECL control, see

Hi,

Settings you are talking about are Personal settings and i don't think Personal settings of users screen will possible by any configuration.so, needs to be done in individual PC's.

But,You can still consult with your BASIS person so that he can do the setting in individual screens.
