Hi,

For configuring J2EE Engine, follow

Windows-> Pereferences -> J2EE Engine (radio button SAP J2EE Engine installed on remote host)

To check whether NWDS is able to contact/connect based on the configurations done by you :

Windows-> Show View ->J2EE Engine

Hi,

You are almost there.

Check the message server port by login to http://PortalAdress/index.html and System information

In message server host, give IP address directly instead of URL....sometimes it may not resolve to IP address

Hi,

To know the msg server host and port

If you have adimin permissions, Go to the http://httphost:httpport/index.html open System Information link. There you will get all the information regarding hosts, ports..etc..
