Deactivating Logging and Tracing

Deactivating logging and tracing for single Interface in XI Box

Could some one guide me on this.

We have an Interface in which the log file generated due to XSLT Mapping+ Value Mapping is of huge size. So we want to deactivate the logging and tracing of the same.

yes.. the idea was to restrict (or allow) by specifying interface id. as in step 7 in the article.

this would control whether the interface it displayed in sxmb_moni.. but it would not disable the logging.

that article is actually about restricted Access / Authorization to view messages

will it disable Logging and Trace for a Particular scenario.....if not wrong it will disable for all messages...please correct me if wrong....

How can we do. Can Basis team perform this activity in Visual Admin or in XI box?

If you want to change the Trace for value mappings then there is an option for it in Visual Admin....but again it will disable the Trace for all value mappings.....

From the link:
In addition, value mappings can be traced (log configuration XIRUN.com.sap.aii.ibrun.server.valueMapping)

so just check it out if you can change the above field to disable Trace....

Abhishek,

this is a global setting. Hence we cannot have it for a single scenario.
