Resposible cost center field should be set blank for WBS >level1.

I want to set " Resp cost center " field blank for WBS element > level1 . i mean to say when i enter the Resp cost center in level 1 WBS element,it should not be copied to the lower level WBS elements automatically.

I know that it can be achieved by Substitution rule.I dont know the steps.Please guide me.

Use Substitution at WBS level as below:

Prerequisite : PROJ-PROFL = 'ABC' AND PRPS-STUFE >= '2'

Substitution: Resp Cost Center - Constant Value - Blank (When you define this step, you will get a lsit of fields on WBS. Select Resp Cctr and then select as constant value and keep it blank)

Assign this substitution in your project profile for automatic substitution, so that when project is saved substitution is carried out.

Hi,

If you want to enter cost center only in level 1 WBSE then create the project and enter the cost center at the end in level 1 WBSE.
