Hi All,

I am trying to install XI on Windows 2003.

1. Installed OS/SPs

2. Installed DB/Patches

3. Installed Centals instance

4. Installed DB Instance

5. Did a client copy. created client. 100

6. I am trying to install J2ee add on, When it prompt for DDIC password, and cline number , I am getting DDIC password not correct. I tried the following

a. DDIC password of newly created 100 client and 100 as client number.

b. DDIC password of 000 client and 000 as client number.

c. Logged in to sap and changed the DDIC password for 000 and 100 to a "super" and tried Super and 100.

Nothing is working out. Can any one got some clues?

Thank you

Ganges,

Try and restart the installation procedure. Maybe the installation is not picking up the changed password. Restarting will clear the cache and might work.

Ganges,

Can you also check to make sure the user 'DDIC' is not locked. This happens if the password in entered incorrectly consecutively 3-4 times. If it is locked, unlock and run the installation.

I could able to logon from sap GUI. I have changed it and logged back from sap GUI, when it prompted to change, i have changes it again. So DDIC user is working fine.

I rebooted my server and will restart in instalation from java addon part again today update the form.

Thank you very much.

Thank you
