I ran into this while trying to access http://<host>:<port>/smd. I did find another post on hear stating the same issue but it states to go to

Diagnostics Setup

Diagnostics System

Advanced setup

but since I am unable to get to the site, how else am I suppose to upgrade whatever it is that is outdated?

found my answer.

I got a red light while in SOLMAN_CONFIG --> Basic Config --> Automatic Config --> Diagnostics Config under the maintenance part due to a role issue; needed j2ee_admin.

Executed the service again and it went through and I was able to continue.

Are you getting any kind of warning or error message like above ? but where and in what context ? I mean, what are trying to do so as you face this message ?

and 'http://<host>:<port>/smd' , are you getting any error while accessing this URL in solman ?

Sorry for my vagueness.

I am receiving this when trying to setup SolMan Diagnostics. I reach this screen from trying to go to the Solution Manager Java side directly and also from the Diagnostic Setup from the RCA workcenter.

Do you have an idea on what it is referring to?
