Problem after restore online full backup with RMAN

Hello,

I restored an online full backup and then I recovered databes until a point in time. I open my database doing resetlogs. No problem but when the brarchive run the log shows next message and don´t save/delete archive logs:

BR0036W The current redo log sequence number 5 of database instance ACD is not greater than the sequence number 7984 of the last saved offline redo log file

BR0031I Probably the redo log sequence number of database instance ACD was reset

BR0496W Offline redo log files created before database reset cannot be saved by RMAN

BR0013W No offline redo log files found for processing

BR0007I End of offline redo log processing: aearcujq.svd 2009-05-28 05.16.59

BR0280I BRARCHIVE time stamp: 2009-05-28 05.16.59

BR0004I BRARCHIVE completed successfully with warnings

How can I solve this problem for save&backup new archive logs???

P.D. I use rman_util in brarchive call.

Thank you very much.

if u have backup of offline redolog from then match the sequence no. of Redolog with current redolog file from ur backup directory. if u found any spesific redolog file missing on present online redolog file directory copy manually that file from Backup by this missing sequence no. after that ur problem will be solved

Thanks

nice try Presu, but your answer will not resolve his issue.

we all know that he has reset his archive redolog sequence number.

the SAP note I provided explains how to resolve the problem (simply delete arch[SID].log file)
