local client copy not starting

hi... all

i have started a local client copy but after taking 3 hour it not start copy

in sm12 , it shows 2 entries r lock, i have deleted these entries and stop/start mmc. try again local client copy, same enteries r lock in sm12

plz guide me

Hi

You can display the original log in the file system with the File Log pushbutton. You can also display the export and import logs of the main transport request (<sid>KT<no>).

from there you can check the logs .

or

if a copy terminates for technical reasons, for example, due to a database shutdown, you can restart the process from the point of termination.if a client copy or client import postprocessing did not finish, the system automatically proposes restart mode when you call the transaction. The same parameter settings are used automantically.The last step is restarted. You cannot continue to copy an incompletely copied table, the table is reinitialized and recopied.

So pls check accordingly

If you started the client copy in forground then check the free work process you have or not, if you scheduled in Backsground then check the job status, after that you can check the file system at OS level that are free or not.

This looks good to me. The system is trying to evaluate which tables to copy - this may take some time.

The locks are good too - this is not a problem.
