SAP GRC requirements

Hi all,

We have built new SAP HR system which is ECC6.0 on unix/oracle,

and we wanted to implement SAP GRC in this SAP HR sytem.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to the current SAP HR systems to implement GRC.

Hi Rama,

As harleen told about RTAs need to be installed and additionally you need to do the following in the backend HR ECC system-

1) BC Set activation

2) Create PUBLIC logon group

3) Create one communication user with SAP_ALL permission

4) One RFC connecting to the same ecc system for Fire Fighter.

Hi Rama

If you have HR module operational in ECC 6.0 system ,recomendation is not to install the GRC -PC 2.5/3.0 software in that system,as PC 2.5/3.0 has got their own HR org structure and it could conflict with the ECC's HR org structure.

Though you can use the ECC 6.0 system as a backend ERP for the automated control analysis by installing real time agents of PC 3.5/3.0 and connecting the ECC 6.0 system via RFC connection with the NW system where you would intstall PC 2.5/3.0.

Hello Rama,

The frontend of the GRC application is installed on the Web AS JAVA and backend is installed on the target backend system to which you want to connect GRC frontend to ; which in your case is the ECC 6.0 . Now that you have SAP HR component in ECC 6.0, so you will have to install both VIRSANH and VIRSAHR RTA files in the backend system.

Here are the pre requisistes for the SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS components to check before you install VIRSAHR .

SAP_BASIS : SAPKB70013

SAP_ABA : SAPKA70013

SAP_HR : SAPKE60013

VIRSANH : SAPK-533COINVIRSANH

YOu can download the files and start the installation by following the installation guide available on service marketplace.

There are aso some pre installation check documents available on BPX.
