Resource Related Billing

Hi every one,

I am new to SAP

Can some body explain me the concept of resource related billing?

Please suggest why we use resource related billing, DIP profile, Results Analysis and what is relation between these?

if any body could provide some notes or study materials like pdf etc, APART FROM THE SAP HELP LIBRARY it would be great help.

Hi Friend,

Resource related Billing is used

1. Items of a sales document (for example, standard order) with controlling object (this means that costs and revenues are updated in the sales document)

2. Item of a sales document with relation to a work breakdown structure element from a customer project

3. Item of a sales document with relation to a production order or internal order

4. A non-revenue bearing service order with relation to an a sales document item

Revenue bearing service orders

DIP is an intergrated way to process costs or quantity based data between CO and SD

DIP is used for flexible analysis of Resouce related Billing.

Resource related Billing is useful in CS and PS (project systems)

And Reslt analysis key which is also called as RA key

R.A key is just like capitalzation key, which capitalise The WIP .Cost carrier is RA type cost element, which sucks the open production order value(normally at the time of period end closing) and put them on balance sheet till it is closed .

In the customer projects both the technical project view are important. RRB is used to get the detailed project data to show the external customer view.

The sales order is the only link between the PS and the SD, we can assign one or more sales order items to the Billing or account assignment element. If u have assigned an account assignment element, the system determines the relevant billing element. In order to assign SD documents to projects we have to make some settings like the item category in the docment items, and use the requirement class which contains an accont assignment category D and G with usage indicator P and the special stock indicator set either Blank or set to E .

For RRB WBS element on the account assignment tab and A dynamic item process profile on the sales B tab page

Dynamic items are the intermediate stage of data that results during processing, The system summarizes data frm defined sources to dynamic items, summarization is performed by the dynamic item processor.

DIP profile is the tool that is used to group data indynamic items during resouces related Biling.
