Dear SAP senior Guys,

I wanted to print date in boxes. i,e MM DD YY in boxes.

for SAP Script Cheque. This is Very Important as it is Bank Cheque and needs Approval from Bank.

I am doing like this.

/: SET DATE MASK = 'MM.DD.YY'

and then playing with Box Command, to draw vertical lines in between DD, MM and YY... with

BOX HEIGHT '0.5' CM FRAME 10 TW

BOX XPOS '.48' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '0.5' CM FRAME 10 TW

BOX XPOS '.78' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '0.5' CM FRAME 10 TW

Is this a right method ?? or Else

Should there be a Standard method to print Date in Boxes ..

Please let me know the precise information.

Actually I have posted the same Question, yesterday and got some opinions ..but I would like to know 100 % right Information.

Thanks & Regards

venkat.

Hi,

So long as your date always appears in the same postion on the page/window then your solution looks fine.

Actually cheques are normally printed on pre-printed stationary so the addition of extra boxes should not be necessary.

Dear Surbjeet,

I agreee that Cheque is a pre-printed Stationary but it requires boxes and all other things that will be printed,

It is only a Plain Cheque which contains some safety features as true Water Mark, Thermochromic Ink, copy void pantograph and So on ...

Anyway, My problem is to print Date in Boxes, I belive It can be done in Smartforms.
