Hi
Greetings!
Is native stock allowed in "Stock in transit"? Is there any setting specific to the same.
Please find the following scenario
Interco STO created and outbound delivery created for 10 quantities. Post Goods Issue for the delivery is done from the supplying plant for 10 quantity.
Now the stock in transit for the receiving plant is 10 quantities. When i try to perform goods receipts against the outbound delivery with 15 quantities, still the system allows me to GR for 15 even though the available quantities in transit is 10 only.
How is it possible. Please clarify.

Hi Gopi,
Check whether you have activated negative stocks for that material in material master (plant data view) and check in OMJ1 tcode too. becoz of that, you might get this problem..

Hi,
System should be giving either the warning message no M7 022 .Change this message to error so that it will not allow the posting of material in excees of the stock in transit quantity. The stock in transit can be negative if you have returned some quantity of goods against the STO. Please check. In that case system is expecting the deliverys back and you can do the GR for the returned quantiy.

hi,
> Yes "Stockin transit" can be allowed for negative stocks...The settings are controlled from SPRO settings..
> check settings at:
> SPRO >> IMG >> MM >> Inventory management and PI >> GI >> settings Negative stocks >> here check for the indicator...
> the Stock in transit indicator would be allowed for your Availability check and checking rule..
> check it carefully...
