Hi Experts

We have implemented ECC6 BCS.

The client wants to upload the budget data directly using Excel.

The client does NOT wants to upload the using the SAP standard transaction FMPLUP to upload planning data and then the planning data to budget data using transaction FMCYLOAD.

Kindly suggest if there is any SAP standard transaction.

Regards,

Purnima

Hi,

With BCS it's easy just to use simple Ctrl-Copy/Paste functionality. Create Excel file in the format of FMBBC layout you are using, select the data in Excel and paste it to SAP.

Eli

Hi

yes is one direct option. But before upload we need to insert the line items, if it is more than 20. Our client wants to upload budget mininum of 200 to 300 line item every time, in that case it is very labours task to insert lines before uploading pasting the budget from excel.

Kindly suggest if there is a way out for Mass upload of Budget through Excel.

That's not correct; you can select whatever quantity of the lines and do the Ctrl+V, the system will expand the area automatically (of course, if you do not use Web-client, but work direcltly in SAP-GUI). It's standard ALV layout functionality.

No other option is possible except for the standard one already mentioned in your thread.
