Difference between central and decentral adapter

I am in the process of sizing the server, the CPUs(SAPS)are more when using the decentral adpater, any one can explain why the CPU is more when using Decentral adapter than central adapter.

In central Adapter Framework in an All-In-One installation we have all XI components uses the same database instance as the Integration Server. But in a high-volume processing scenario, we have one option is to use a separate non-central Adapter Framework instance with its own database and other resources to be installed on a different host. So this is own of the reason why your CPUs(SAPS) are more in decentral adapter rather than in central adapter.
