I do not think it is possible.

Would you please confirm that?

Thanks!

Not as far as I'm concern. Not from the point of view of maintaining the MaxDB database at least.

Juan:

May I ask you 2 more questions?

1) From IXOS 9.6 archive server's manual, I read:

SecKeys can be used if the SAP Content Server HTTP Interface 4.5 (ArchiveLink 4.5) is

used for communication between the SAP system and the Archive Server.

Could you help explain what is the relationship among R/3, content server and the archive server?

2) In you reply you mentioned MaxDB, does MaxDB have anything to do with this?

Thanks for your help. All advices appreciated.

SAP Content Server basically works as a HTTP Repository that use MaxDB as database, SAP CS is not only used for Archiving but also for scanned images and any other area that require an external repository. As far as I'm aware in the case of IXOS that is called and Archive Server.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

As mention above MaxDB is the DB used by SAP Content Server.

Juan
