what are pricing tables in MM?

suppose the price of an item changes numerous times, how do we track all the price updates for a particular item belonging to a particular vendor? what are info records?

Few more table on pricing:

KONH - Conditions (Header)

KOND - Conditions (Data)

KOTD508 - Customer/Sales org./Distr. Chl/MatEntered

KONDD - Material Substitution - Data Division
