Text Module and Std text

Hi experts,

I dont know if i can ask this question in this section. Please redirect me to the correct location if iam in the wrong section.

Please provide the differences between text module and std. text in smartform.

Please explain this technically.

Hello,

Text module is not language specific and we dont need to attach it to the transport request as we do for standard text using RSTXTRAN.

When you create text module, it will ask for transport request and the purpose of both serves same.
