User Exit not supported in Higher verson

Hi,

Have any one of you come across a situation where a working User-exit in lower version( like SAP 4.7 or ERP 2004) has been made obsolete in Higher version( Like ERP 2005)?.

And also is there any official communication from SAP that User exits interface(Parameters etc) never changed irrespective of versions.

Can some one please help me with some official link/document?. Or guide me a place to find the answer.

My customer is asking a proof also.

The best is to search SAP Notes to find out more detail information or you can send note to SAP for advise and solution.

Hi,

U can find some information in SAP Notes.

For EX : SAP Note 194136 talks about change in the

Parameters.

Symptom

New parameter needed in user exit HMXCISR0_003

Additional key words

Fiscal credit for taxes

user exit HMXCISR0_003

Cause and prerequisites

With the actual parameters it is not possible to distinguish between different employee groups / subgroups in the user exit.

Solution

Add the following two new parameters in the mentioned user exit:

persg LIKE P0001-PERSG (Employee group)

persk LIKE P0001-PERSK (Employee subgroup)
