Changing the SID, hostname, IP address of existing SAP server

Hi,

We have currently ECC 5.0 System running on Oracle 10 g, Windows 2000 EE.

Is it possible to change the SID and hostname of the current running system?

Does SAP provide any tool for changing the SID and hostname, IP address of the current system in which SAP is running ?

Please advise.

You need to do a Homogeneos System Copy to change the SID, host.... IP change can be done without much issue.

Yes you can change the Sid of the system by the Process System copy.

The tool provided by sap is Sapinst for the system Copy.
