Hi,
What are the support packs do we need to install for SAP GRC 5.3 in R/3 level and J2E level?
Are those VIRSAHR 530_700 and VIRSANH 530_700?
Other than that do we need to install any other latest packs which belongs to Basis and ABAP etc.
Please check and advice in this.
Thanks & Regards,
KKRao.

Hello,
VIRSAHR 530_700 and VIRSANH 530_700 are the Access Control RTA base packages which you install on your ABAP server. The minimum SP level required for installation of these RTA as following :

SAP_BASIS : SAPKB70013
SAP_ABA : SAPKA70013
VIRSAHR 530_700 :
SAP_BASIS : SAPKB70013
SAP_ABA : SAPKA70013
SAP_HR : SAPKE60013
VIRSANH : SAPK-533COINVIRSANH
Also , on J2EE side you need to have WAS 700 SP 12 or higher with IGS version 700 or higher

Hi KK,
The support pack in the backend is called RTA (real time agents). It is depends on what is the version and product you are using. Like ECC, BW,SCM,CRM, SRM etc. There are two types of RTA needs to apply in the backend system called VIRSAHR and VIRSANH. For RTA read 1133163, 1133166,1133167 notes.
In J2EE level GRC comes up with SP04, SP05,SP06,SP07 and recently SP08 is released in the market. Before that you need to install the zero level support pack for virsa. I am giving you the exact file name for zero level virsa patch.
VIRAE00_0.sca, VIRCC00_0.sca, VIRFF00_0.sca, VIRRE00_0.sca
If you need anything else then let me know.
Regards,
Sudip.

Hello Experts,
Appreciate your attention to our situation: our R/3 4.70 system doesn't have HR implemented, even though SAP_HR is listed as one of the components. therefore can we skip installing RTA HR version: VIRSAHR if this not going to add value since we are not using HR module.
Or is the RTA HR needed if SAP_HR is available in R/3 4.70, even though HR module is not implemented. Is this a best practice or is not installing RTA HR going to impact the way GRC is going to work with R/3 (e.g. pulling data from R/3).
Thank you.
