There is no article description for item 000010

The intercompany SO creation idoc is failing with error "There is no article description for item 000010"

Can someone advice why?

We do not use actual material. Just enter the vendor material description and enter the material group.

where do you enter vendor material description in sale order ?

Is it an Inbound Idoc or outbound Idoc?

If its a sale order, then how vendor material description came into picture?

This is intercompany setting. PO is created first. It triggers SO creation inbound idoc.

In the Inbound Function module ( I believe you are using standard inbound process code ) on IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS , Put a break point in the program LVEDAF03 ( Include program ) in the second line. Then you will come to know where the error is coming up.

The message ID and numbers are VG / 205 which is a dynamic call.
