SAP Interactive Forms

Hi All,

I am trying to use interactive forms in my webdynpro application. The problem I am facing is while trying to edit the interactiveform element.

It is giving the error as:

Could not find the required product.

Install SAP InteractiveForms - Adobe Lifecycle Designer to edit the Interactive Form.

I have installed "SAP Active Components Framework", "SAP Active Components Framework for Adobe", "Adobe Lifecycle Designer 8.2", "Adobe Reader 8", "Adobe flash Player ActiveX".

What do I need to install or is there any specific setting I need to do in NWDS?

Thanks in advance!!!

Gurmat

Hi Gurmat,

vor the NWDS 2004s without the EHP1 you need do install the LiveCycle Designer 7.1 or 8.0 if you have EHP1 you can use 8.1. This are the LCD how are supported by SAP, but you should download your right version from the Marketplace at [http://service.sap.com|http://service.sap.com]

Have a look at the OSS Notes 1121176 (for 8.0 installation) or 962763 (for 7.1)

Hi Gurmat,

Proceed with next procedure:

Go to URL: http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config -

choose Test to validate ADS.

If that's ok, make sure you published ADS to the system landscape directory:

1. Start the Visual Administrator.

2. On the Cluster tab, choose Server <x> u2192 Services u2192 Web Services Container.

3. In the right frame, select the Web service AdobeDocumentServices (Runtime tab, Web Services frame).

4. Choose the SLD tab.

5. Choose Edit.

The system automatically fills the fields with the required information.

6. Enter a description and choose Publish to publish the Web service AdobeDocumentServices to the SLD.

If that's still ok, then try installing Adobe Reader 7.x

Refer to this document for overall information: [Installing ADS|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30a9630b-4f89-2a10-6fab-e311b3ffd9a6]

Hi,

I also had such probem. When I have installed Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1 the NWDS was not able to see it. I resolved this problem installing SAP Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1 - version for NWDS, and now I can use adobe forms in NWDS. Maybe there is another solution but I couldn't find it. Note: You should remove LC 8.1 before installing SAP LC 7.1,I my case I had memory error.

Hi Gurmat,

Could you give us the version of NWDS you are working with?

Keep in mind that Adobe Lifecycle Designer needs to be installed locally, not

on the server.
