Type conversion error, field I_TRIPNUMBER, complex type class com.sap.xss.t

Hi All.

We are using standard workflow for Approve Trip and Approve Travel Request.

When clicking "Display Form" in the UWL, in MSS "Approve trip" and "Approve request" we get and error message:

"com.sap.aii.proxy.framework.core.DataAccessException: Type conversion error, field I_TRIPNUMBER, complex type class com.sap.xss.tra.tri.model.tripform.Ptrm_Web_Form_Html_Get_Input"

Can any one help..?

We have this problem too, and I have opened an OSS message for it. I will report back with any solution they provide.

You could also try the suggestions in the thread called "Display form in UWL - Type conversion error, field I_TRIPNUMBER".

I agree with Renald Wittwer when he questions if this is Web Dynpro ABAP. That error message doesn't sound like ABAP because ABAP types and classes aren't namespaced like described - com.sap.xss. ... That sounds like Java.
