IDOC sending to MII - error

Former Member

Hello,

We are trying to send IDOC from ERP to MII (12.0.6).

We used this guide to create setting.

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/50775783-6cb1-2b10-90b0-e6bc2c0b...

But when we try to do model distribution we get this error in "Log of model view distribution" - Communication error occured.Server repository could not create function template for 'MODEL_VIEW_REPLICATE'.

RFC test connection was successful.

I attach our message listener server settings.

Server property:

gwhost:/H/10.17.30.12/H/10.242.1.90/H/10.80.140.13

gwserv:sapgw00

progid:DMI_IDOC_1

unicode:1

Client property:

client:221

user:Test_DU

lang:RU

sysnr:00

ashost::/H/10.17.30.12/H/10.242.1.90/H/10.80.140.13

r3name:DR1

trace:1

Maybe someone met this error?

Thanks in advance.

Colleagues,

If someone use IDOC when there is a saprouter between the MII and the ERP system, could you share your experience and write Message listener settings.

Thank in advance.

Does in mean that i should not use SAP Router string?

I check SYNCH paramet and it's correct.

Could you tell what i shoud enter at ashost parameter:

only IP of aplication server or include router string?

/H/10.17.30.12/H/10.242.1.90/H/10.80.140.13

ashost parameter should be same here as gwhost...ashost is name of specific SAP Application server

no need of router information is needed here.As suggested in the document check the gwhost details in SMGW Transaction.

In addition to Sudhir's suggestions, in WE20 make sure your logical system partner has the SYNCH parameter added to the the outbound parameters with the correct receiver port.

Mikhail,

Again you need to be carefull while setting up the Client properties coz it is the way to communicate with ERP.

Client properties should have these details.

Client -

User---

Password----

Lang---

Sysnr---

ashost---

gwhost---

gwserv---

and please check what Jamie suggested.

Hi Mikhail,

I dont see the gwserv option mentioned by you under Client properties, have you entered the details required there and did you choose the option Unicode in ERP under MDMP&Unicode.
