Change in Material Group using MASS T.code

Hi,

I am trying to change the material group for a group of materials by Using MASS T.Code. When i exceuted, iam getting the information messages like

88 : Messages have been issued: number MASS000613000011

578 : Messages have been issued: number MASS000613000009

679 : Messages have been issued: number MASS000613000008

But when i go and check in MM03 the material group has not been changed.

Why the cahnges has not been taken place.

How to check the total message description of the above information messages.

Hi,

Goto T.Code MASS.

Enter the object type as "BUS1001(Materials (industry))" or "BUS1001001(Materials (retail)).

Execute.

Click on tables.Select MARA.

Click on fields.

Search for MARA-MATKL and then select that line.Press F8 or Execute.

Enter your material numbers and then Execute.

Change as per your requirement.

Hello ,

You can never change a material group in IS retail, you have to maintain a reclassification with transaction WRCR or via WRC4.....
