HI Basis Axon -

Did you ever get a resolution to this issue? We are encountering the same thing - the .eco file doesn't have any useful information, and the .elg file was not yet created, so we're trying to figure out what is going on.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Basis Axon,

I would say, this doesn't show the error ...

I do not know, if you are are of, that SAPEHPI is more or less nothing else, than an SAP Upgrade with SAPup. Therefore, it is really complicated and needs some special skills. If you are used to, then you know, that you have to check all the latest changed log files for errors - and in at least one you will find an E or return code 8 or similar ...

Hi there,

Below are the SAPehpiConsole.log which said check TP.ECO, but from that TP.ECO file doesn't seems stated any errors.

2009/05/27 10:05:30 START OF PHASE PREP_GENCHECKS/NTACT_CHK

SEVERE ERROR: error during "tp ntaction"-call - check TP.ECO

Hello.

As stated in Volker's response, you need to search for and study the associated logfiles. At the moment you've simply been informed by the system that phase NTACT_CHK is aborting due to errors.

We are currently in a similar situation to yours, upgrading to EHP4 for ERP 6.0 /NW 7.01.

Please check the following logfiles:

NTCHK.ELG

NTCHK.LOG

SAPehpi.ECO

CHECKS.LOG

and attempt to correct the errors listed if possible.

If the files refer to an object activation error, the following SAP Notes might be of use:

"SAP Note 179334 - Processing of errors in phase NTACT_CHK"

"SAP Note 695195 - Activation process fails for the table pool"

Sincerely,

Bernard Nelson
