Hi all

I would like to know a simple secuence of steps for planning and secuencing the orders after the mrp..

For instance rescheduling botton up. Which are the most usefull heuristics??

Run the heuristics using the T code-/SAPAPO/CDPSBO

1st run the SAP_MRP_001 then use the SAP_PP_009 and 010

Hello,

first step is to run stage number heuristic ( SAP_PP_020) That will sort materials in Low level codes.

Then you can run MRP ( if you did not run earlier)

Then depends on your business needs you can choose Heuristic:-

say for eg if you want to sort the orders depending on the requirement date then use TOP down heuristic.You can use alerts to find out which components are shorage : you can move dates/ confirm schedule lines etc.

And based on that you can run your Bottom up heuristic which will give you fesible solution(requirements dates may not be adhered in that case)

I just talked this as one of the scinario, as I said earler depending on Business requirements you can configure and use differnt heuristics in sequence to get desired results.

Which is the diference between TOP down heuristic and Bottom up heuristic.Is it necesary to run both?

Do this heuristics work with finity capacity?

I have a very simple model with an order for finish product and other order for semifinish.
