Validation error occurred during the initial replication on materials

Hi

I get the following error in SMW01 during the initial replication of materials from R/3 to SRM.

"Specify the relevant unit of length

Net weight of product 10 is larger than gross

Specify the relevant unit of weight

Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT"

I have checked the middleware settings and they are fine. I have managed to replicate product categories successfully.

On R3AM1 the material object is successfull (green) but when the materials are not replicated and when i check SMW01 I get the errors mentioned above.

see the david comments

Check the weight fields on your material master using MM02.

The net weight must not be greater than the gross weight, and if you key a material master in then you can not enter data like this.

Some data loads will bypass this validation though, that is how you can end up with invalid materials.

in smw01

click this item and go to violet(light pinkcolor).

violet color button in the tool bar(between detail and yellow button). if you click the violet color box, it shows you that waht material is.

What if no weights are maintain in the material master for the net or gross weights? Can this cause this problem?
