Finish to start relation

hi friends

i want a scenario, that an activity will not start before completion of an activity

i don't want anyone to confirm or input to a 2nd activity till the first activity is completed.........

is it so possible??? if so how????

Y ou can does like Finish to start relationship between two activities.

Option 1 :

You can lock the master dat of the second activity, vis system status. till the time your complete the first activity.

Options 2 :

Manitain constraints on First activity mujst finish on 28.05.2009.

Second activity maintain constraint cannot start before 29.05.2009.

Activate user status ( Forbid Confimr Transaction ) for the second activity till the time first activity gets confirmed,

You can archive this either by using User status or Constraints.

maintain a FS relationship between the two activities and put a constraint 'Cannot start before' for the second activity.

Do not release the second activity till first finish or till you are comfortable.
