Copy Purchase Orders

Hi everybody,

Do you know if it is possible copy purchase order in SRM?

I don't want to copy shopping carts, these purchases orders doesn't have SC.

Hi Patricia,

There is no such function in the standard SRM system. Is it possible? Of course, it is - with custom development.

Now, before you spend money on development you need to question the business requirement in relation to the SRM mentality. SRM is Shopping Cart - centric. Most of the advanced functionality is around the SC, including approvals, copying, etc. PO is only the end result which can be fully automated (except for some change scenarios). So, why not use Shopping Cart templates instead.

Hi,

In SRM purchase order was created with respect to the shopping cart. with out SC we can not create PO in SRM system.

Hi guys,

We can create PO without SC by transaction BBP_POC.

However, what I need is create POs from old POs or also templates. As I know we can do that in SC, but I cannot find that functionallity in POs.

Do you know if there is some way to create PO from old POs or also templates?
