Mandatory characteristics in retail site.

Hello,

I would like to make a characteristic mandatory in the site creation/modification via WB01.

When we activate the field "characteristic mandatory" via the transaction CT04, no control is made when we save the site in WB01/Wb02.

For information, my characteristic belongs to a classe.

Hi Maxime,

The required entries of the classification are not similar with required fields of other applications. So it possible to save an Object (in your case Site) without assigning the value of required characteristics.

'Entry reqired' doesn't mean that the classification as a subordinate program stops the transaction of any calling program (documention or material master, etc). If a req. characteristics has no value assigned, the class allocation is set to 3 (internally 5). If the user completes the valuation the next time, the progrem itself sets the status to 1 (released) if the classification status 5 in the class type

has the flag 'aut. release'. You should set this flag in TC o1CL.

Should you wish to recieve an error when missing Values , then please use the user exits CLFM0003 or CLFM0002. You can find more information in attached notes 337262 and 543914.
