Dear all,

Inspection lot can be created automatically and manually. Than what is inspection lot origin and inspection lot completion?

Hi

Inspection lot origin:In simple terms means how lot is originated.

Like for 01 inspection type(against GR) inspection lot origin is 01.

Every inspection lot is alwz connected to a Inspection lot origine(must be)

You can create your own Inspection lot but you can not create your own inspection lot origin.

Number of Inspection lots can be connected to a single inspection lot origne but vice versa not true.

Ex: 01 & 0101 inspection type is connected to 01 inspec lot origine.

08 7 0080 inspection type is connected to 08 inspec lot origine.

Like this there are several Inspection lot origine like 02 ,10,11 (Delivery inspection)

03 ,13 for Inprocess

04 for Final etc

inspection lot completion:Means Usage Decision for lot is taken/made.

System status is ICCO for such lots.

Hi,

In addtion to what sujit had explained is ,when you create inspection lot manually you will never get stock posting Tab , this is also the difference between inspection lot created manually and inspection lot generated automatically.
