Dear All,

Whenever we go for inspection planning , under it several terms are there like 1) Inspection plan 2) Ref. operation set 3) Material specification 4) routing 5) master recipe.

Inspection plan is quite understandable but what are the use of others and where are they used?

Regards,

Hi rohit

1) Inspection plan :

Inspectiojn plan is used at plant level.here you can use DMR,Sample drawing,sampling procedure etc. for a material.

2) Ref. operation set:

reference operation set can be used in a task list or material specs.

as name suggest it is referenced in the operation level for any task list.

Lets consider you have a operation that you perform in each task list.then you can create that operation once & refer alwz same in all task lists...

3) Material specification

Material specification is client inspection specifications.supports only MICs of complete copy model and reference characteristics.Does not support Dynamic modificaiton rule.

4) routing(CA01):

Routing is for Inprocess or final inspection depending upon the requireemnt.

Routing may contain different operations like opn 10 :Grinding opn 20:milling opn 30:piping etc which will have a work center where you can calculate capacity & do job planning.(IR03)

again like task list it will have char for every operation( like for milling there will be different char you will inspect )

5) master recipe:Mater receipe is used in process or chaemical industry behaves same as that of task list ot Material specs.
