Dear Experts,
We have re-designed our BW 3.1 system to rearrange the cubes for better balancing.
However we have now discovered that a Characteristic we have made into a display attribute, it's infoobject also contains display attributes that were being used in queries.
Is there a way of allowing these attributes appear in the query even if the characteric is now a display attribute?
Essentially displaying an attribute of an attribute so to speak.
Or is there another way of doing this, since we can now no longer put these display attributes back as characteristics due to time constraints. Perhaps some form of Multiprovider ?!
Your quick response as ever much appreciated.
Thanks
Craig
Hi Craig,
You may place these display attributes as separate chars in your infoprovider. But anyway, you'll have to redesign queries.
Best regards,
Eugene

Hi,
So you removed the object from the dimension-tables?
then activate it as NAV-Attribute (again).
You then have the display-attributes available again.
YOu only need to change the queries.

The problem we have is that the display attributes we need are attributes of the Business Partner, NI Number, Post Code and Solvency Status !
How can we get these as display attributes of some other info-object ?
We had to remove these items because we already have too many line item dimensions and these were not needed for filtering on, but their attributes are needed for display purposes.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Craig
