Dear Experts,
This morning our BASIS team upgraded our JDK version from 1.4.2_13 to 1.4.2_20 for our SAP NW portal. We notice that after the upgrade we could not login into the our portal. All of our users are affected by this problem. When we try to login into portal, we get:
Authentication did not succeed
Can anyone suggest what we can do to solve this problem?
Thank You
Regards
Ramesh

the problem solved by just rolled back to original setting. According to our basis admin the new JDK version does not comply with the customize Login Module. So we have reverted back the settings.
thank you

Did the BASIS team modify the JAVA_HOME environment variable after changing the version in use?

Since we don't know how you're UME is configured (where are you users) it's impossible to suggest something. Against what do you authenticate?
