Database backup error

Hi to all

This is sanjay can any one tell me that-

when ever i take bakup it gives me return code 1 and following error..

why?

BR0252W Function remove() failed for 'C:\oracle\PRD\102\database\sapPRD.ora' at location BrInitOraCreate-1

BR0253W errno 13: Permission denied

BR0252W Function remove() failed for 'C:\oracle\PRD\102\database\sapPRD.ora' at location BrInitOraCopy-7

BR0253W errno 13: Permission denied

BR0166I Parameter 'control_files' not found in file C:\oracle\PRD\102\database\initPRD.ora - default assumed

BR0274W File 'C:\oracle\PRD\102\database\CTL1PRD.ORA' not found

This error is giving every time can any onle help me to sort it out.

Hi,

Check permissions of Destination Drive or Folder. If problem is wilth user then Brtools gives error and not started Backup.

I think it is problem of read-write permission of that drive or Folder. One more thing make backup destination folder manually and give it full access and try again.
