Hi Experts,
May I ask how I can restore the list under the SAP Systems in the SAP Management Console?
I have just restarted the system and the list is gone and I can no longer log-in to the server using sap logon.
The PI is installed in windows 2003. Do you think reinstalling PI can fix this?
Your advise is very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Regards,
Lex
hi Lex,
Please perform these things...
1. Ensure all SAP<sid>_(instance number) services are 'Started'. If these services area already started then
2. ensure to replace the 'SAPMMC.msc' file and related files at C:\Windows and C:\Windows\System32 folders
3. OR if you are middle of the installation/upgrade of PI 7.1 then, it's know issue .....in this case you just need to start the SAP using command prompt with 'sapstart.exe' (refer for syntax usage).
Thanks
Sekhar

hi sekhar,
thanks for the info.
i found this one...
Hi
Go to service.msc from run window.Look for the below mentioned services:
1-> SAP<SID>_<NO>
Right click on the service and click on properties.Click on Logon tab. Click on Browse and look for "SAPService<sid> and type the password of SAPService<sid> that has been assigned during the installation. You need to repeat the password.Log off and login <sid>adm. Now SAP MMC console should come up with the tree
