Unable to see the value of watch expression in NWDS

Hi experts,

I'm using SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1.

I have a problem during the debug of my application: when I add an expression in the watch view, I can't see its value.

Is there some setting to check? Or something to activate?

Does anybody know what can I do?

Hi Laura

You would be able to see the watch expression, we are able to see it. It is a standatd eclipse functionality.

yes, I know that I would be able to see it, but it's not like this.

In the Watch view there are 2 columns: the left one containing the expression and rigth one that it's empty.

Is it in the rigth one that can I see the value?

Also if I right click on the expression and select "Reevaluate Watch Expression" nothing happens.

Can you help me?

Hi Laura

Yes in the right one you will be able to see the value if its a variable. Or expand the plus mark if you have and you will be able to see valies for attributes if it an object.

I know that it should work like this. I have put a string (that I can see in the Variables View is valorized) in the watch view but here the value it's not visible and if I put an object there is no plus to expand it (but in the varables view I can see that it is correctly valorized).

The rigth side of the watch view is always empty.

I can't understand why.

Can you help me, please?
