Domain Key

am going to import the repository from 6.5 to XI 3.0, and when i click drop down menu BOE 6.5 on source, the form asked me for filled user name, password, and domain key file.

anyone knows which usn and pass shud i filled,and what is domain key files?, and how i supposed to create domain key files in BO 6.5?

Hi,

Are you sure it is asking for the 'domain' key file and not the 'bomain' key file, but probably referring to the same key file.

In 6.5 the file bomain.key (could also have another name, but bomain.key is the default) is the file in which the connection to the repository database is defined. With a 6.5 installation you can find this file in the 'LocData' folder of the BO installation.

To recreate this bomain.key file you need the Supervisor module installed and a username and password for a user with 'general supervisor' rights.
