Trip, Domestic or International

Friends!

How a trip is classified as domestic or international in travel request. What is the difference in processing where both domestic and international trips involve air ticket, hotel, per diem etc... Thanks!

Hello,

For Travel Request, you are using the trip schema PL so there is no possibility to differentiate a domestic trip from international trip however by means of country this will be automatically sorted

out when you create your travel expenses later provided that the country is define a default for a specific trip schema.

HI,

It is based on Trip provision variant if trip provision variant is created for India. trips with in india will become domestic and other countries will become overses travel.

There is no field to differentiate domestic and international in standard travel request screen.

How ever while creting expense in PR05 if you select wrong schema system will throw error.
